Day 10

 Toqi Zargaron

The structure of the Tak-i Zargaron domes consist of an arch filled in by a half dome, which was cheaper and faster to build than complete or intersecting dome structures. Light filtered in from the oculi of the arcade domes and the windows pierced into the central dome's drum. Massive structural ribs and the ascending profile of its domed roofing create a distinct skyline. The structure is built entirely in yellow brick.

The Taq-i Zargaron has been in continuous use over the past few centuries, over which several additions were made around the iwans of its east, west and south portals. Restoration efforts in the 1950s and 1990s removed these extensions and reinforced the central dome.
Today is the last day of practice. Wow, I'm so glad this mess is over. And our last place was Toki Zargaron, which is the third dome in Bukhara. The girls spoke very cool about this reconstruction and learned a lot of new things. Thanks to everyone who was there and supported us.

Day 9

 Piridasgir Mosque

Today is our last day of practice. After two weeks of torment, we all passed it. And our last place was the Piridasgir Mosque. Despite this, we can say that this mosque was recently built and the coffin of Piridasgir itself is located in Iran. Piridasgir is one of the Pirs, which means that he was a saint and many people came to him for advice. In the end, we got acquainted with the building. Thank you very much to our teacher who always helped and supported us.

Day 8

 Boboyi Poraduz

This tomb is located opposite the Jewish cemetery on Ibrokhim Muminov Street. It is a rarely visited area by tourists though a popular place for locals with the Central Park being a short walk north. The entrance to the tomb complex is through an impressive brick archway with star shaped designs on the

It does not have a main façade, since all its sides are the same. The middle of each side is cut by a large lancet arch, massive cylindrical columns are erected at the corners - without a base and capitals. All entrances are framed by rectangular frames made of brick circles, into which iron bars are embedded. The main entrance is considered to be the eastern side, which has a wooden beam with a date and an inscription. On the top of the mausoleum, encircling it from all sides, there is an arcade of small lancet windows - one Yus on each side. Of particular interest in the tomb of the Samanids is the design of the ceiling: on the massive walls of the building, at the level of the arcade, a through gallery was erected, which unloads the dome of the mausoleum and makes the whole structure light. During this period, high-quality burnt bricks and alabaster mortar began to be used in construction. The alternation of bricks laid horizontally and at an angle, flat and vertical, diagonally and in a herringbone pattern, replaced the non-existent color irrigation at that time. By means of such masonry, the masters managed to achieve an exceptional artistic effect, and the flat walls of the mausoleum turned out to be covered with a peculiar ornament that revived them and gave them softness and tenderness. The walls seemed to move apart and become transparent. During the day, the ornament changes its intricate pattern with different inclinations of the sun's rays, but it is most beautiful in moonlight.

Day 7

 Turki Jandi

The life and career of Turki Jandi himself is something of a mystery—this author has not been able to find any reliable biographical information. The surname "Jandi" may be a reference to a place of birth, perhaps the medieval town of Jand (a.k.a. Jend), which was a winter capital of the Seljuqs along the Syr Darya (Jaxartes) river, prior to its destruction at the hands of the Mongols.

Bird lovers may be interested to hear that the monument is crowned with a gigantic stork's nest, one of the few (and perhaps the only one) left in the city. Storks used to be common in Bukhara before land use changes and chemical fertilizers introduced in the Soviet era decimated their numbers from the mid-20th century onward.

Day 6

 Chor  Bakr

today was one of the most wonderful days. The group and I went to Chor Bakr, which is located outside the city. We all gathered near the mausoleum of Chor Bakr. When we first went there, the feeling was incredible. There I first saw a squirrel and gave them food, it's such a feeling that it is impossible to describe in words. After that, we went inside this building there was a mosque and many coffins of other people. In the end, this amazing day, I added my piggy bank.

Day 5

 Chor Minor
The Taj Mahal in India Caliph Niyazkul-Beg developed a strong desire to build something like this fascinating building back in his kingdom.

Here is a dome that had a value as a venue for the muslim spiritual rites, which often included singing and playing instrumental music. Interior walls and the dome were decorated with religious inscriptions in Arabic. Remains of inscriptions can be seen today.

Unfortunately, the madrasah in its entirety does not survive. Only part of the portal with a hall used as a mosque and the four minarets are still remaining. The dome over the hall allowed using it as zikrkhona prayer room where Sufis could hold their ritual ceremonies.

According to historical records, after visiting The Taj Mahal in India Caliph Niyazkul-Beg developed a strong desire to build something like this fascinating building back in his kingdom.

 Toqi Telpakfurushon

The grave of the Bukhara police chief Khoja Ahmati Paron. They say that Parvonkhodzha was strict with thieves, therefore, during his service on the streets, in the markets of Bukhara it was calm. Parvonkhodzha sat in this very place, his servants brought the guilty before the bright eyes. And the zindans were replenished with new prisoners.

Today is day 4 of our practice. Matlyuba Akhmedovna and I gathered near the second dome of Toki Telpak Furushon. This architectural object was built in the 16th century. And today our guides were Nozima and Feruza. They told facts and history like professionals. It was wonderful to listen to them. After that we had a tour of this facility and how every day this day was great.
